Valerie Bleier, Silver and Jewelry Specialist
Valerie Bleier, Silver & Jewelry Specialist, and Advertising Manager has been with the firm for eleven years. In addition to these responsibilities, she is also one of the principal appraisers, USPAP Certified and a Member of the Appraisers Association of America..

She is also a member of The New York Silver Society, and The American Society of Jewelry Historians.

Prior to her career at Dawson & Nye she was an interior designer and a member of The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). After graduating from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in History, she studied at Parsons School of Design, New York University and the Gemological Institute of America

Originally from Short Hills, where she was the President of The Millburn-Short Hills Historical Society, and a Commissioner on The Historic Preservation Committee of Millburn Township. She also served as a Trustee of Preservation Action, in Washington D.C. She is a member of The National Trust for Historic Preservation, The Preservation Society of Newport County, and The Museum of Modern Art.

She now resides in Morristown, with her husband, Stephen, where they are members of The Kellogg Club.

They have a son, Brian, living in Manhattan.
